Just a little background on me, I am an art robot currently in school trying to earn a degree in graphic design so that I can move on from all this education business. I am inspired by most things that I see, and some things that I pluck out of the air from walking too closely and overhearing conversations. Some of my favorite subjects to draw, although is not an exhaustive list include robots, dinosaurs, and rocket ships. I grew up reading Calvin and Hobbes and still revisit my collection often.
That's enough about me, I hope you enjoy my work!
A little about my shoes:
I can paint on any canvas shoe you like. The jury is out on leather for the moment but I'm off to experiment in the near future. I use acrylic paints which effectively turn to what could easily be compared to rubber when they dry. Because of this, you could walk through a stream in these shoes and they would be absolutely fine. They can, and have even been, put through the wash! I extremely recommend against spray 'n wash though, as it eats the pigment right out of the paint. I spray each pair with a water/stain resistant spray so the necessity of washing will hopefully be avoided for as long as possible.
Personally, I feel that my shoes look even better when they have taken a beating and are falling apart. By being worn extensively, they take on something of the personality of the owner.
